Launched in September 2010, Bristol Zoo Learning Department and its partner the Bristol Conservation and Science Foundation have joined with South Gloucestershire and Stroud College and the University of the West of England to deliver a new two year foundation science degree. For the most part, this is based at the Zoo, and takes a biological approach to the study of wildlife conservation issues using the Zoo’s resources and experience to demonstrate the practicalities of conservation.
